I called this morning because my door was not working properly!! Clayton responded quickly and now the door is adjusted and repaired. He installed this opener 3 years ago and just as he did then he did today. He provided outstanding customer service. I am a lifelong customer!!

So I call this guy clayton at 7pm because I needed my garage door fixed.Clayton showed up at 8:30pm and gave me a quote on the spot. Who does that? Seriously that was awesome. Clayton Smith came out to our house in the wee hours of the morning on 2/14/20, our motor went out in the garage and we had no way of getting in the house. After making the call to JR Garage Doors & Service, Clayton was here in a matter of minutes!!!! He was able to get our garage door up and he replaced our old motor (Craftsmen) with a brand new Liftmaster, with new remotes and new key pads all within a matter of 45 minutes. The service was EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend JR Garage Doors & Service!!!

My experience with Clayton “Cliff” Smith of JR Garage Door & Services was Five Stars! No other way to describe it. My right-side garage door torsion spring had rusted and busted. I began searching online and I noticed how many friendly reviews were posted from genuine local customers living in my area. I noticed that a local exchange cell phone number was provided along with the two business numbers on the website. So I called it - and Cliff answered himself! As soon as I described my problem, he asked me to send him a phone pic of the door. 5 minutes later he had set up to be in my garage this afternoon and instantly quoted me the total price. The last place I had called was quoting me over $75 more, plus stated that the total price could be higher after completing the job. Their dispatcher was to call back - but never did. Mr. Smith showed up on time. In short, he had the entire job completed, adjusted, and all areas lubed - in a half hour or less. They were so helpful. We had issues with our odd sized garage door and they were able to help us. The door we ordered (from the local hardware store) was broken, so it had to be returned. They even came back late that night to make sure we had it installed that same day. Wish we had called them sooner!

Not only were they honest about what I needed done for my garage, very communicative and responsive to all my questions but they were reasonably priced!! I had another company come out to assess the damage and they told me it should be replaced and then tried to sell me on other things I "needed" leading me to believe this was going to cost me thousands of dollars. I'm so glad I happened upon JR services! They were very prompt in responding to my request for a quote. They could have easily upsold me on replacements or other things but instead were honest and said they could repair it for me. They even got out to my house over the weekend to do the repair. Clayton is the best - he is so knowledgeable about garage doors, very fairly priced, and just an all around good person. He fixed our old wonky garage doors when we first moved into our house and weren't quite ready to upgrade, then came back and installed brand new doors when we were finally ready. Inquired about services Wednesday. Saturday I asked for a time my garage door opener could be installed and Sunday morning my garage door opener was installed.

After calling a few places and receiving no callbacks to install a garage door opener, I decided to contact J&R via e-mail. Mr. Smith was extremely responsive (wrote back within an hour of my initial contact) and considerate of my time. Samantha was just as customer-oriented as Mr. Smith and I really appreciated her knowledge as to what kind of opener what be best for my home. They were very communicative also regarding the status of parts available and when they would be able to install the opener system -- we had a minor delay with getting parts and even though I was not in a rush to have the installation completed, Samantha did not want to keep me hanging on a string waiting to get the job done. I think the delay was 4(?) days, no biggie. Mr. Smith arrived and worked in a timely manner with no drama, explaining how the opener worked, safety precautions, etc. -- thank you. I would contact them again should I need their services in the future.

Update 11/2019: So as people (read me) are wont to do, I procrastinated on setting up my wifi enabled garage door opener with the app. When I went to do it though, I realized my wall button wasn't the right type. I sent them an email (3 months after install), and they apologized and gave me a replacement. Came through to install it, and even waited to make sure I was able to set it up. 6 star service! Had an awesome experience with them getting a replacement door. I needed reframing on a nonstandard opening, and removal of the door from the 50s and replacement with an automatic system, and they came through. There were some scheduling issues along the way but they were very communicative (and very understanding when i once forgot about an appt). I was even given a credit for the reschedules. Awesome customer service. They quoted me the best rates out of anyone by the way! And they cleaned my gross garage floor for me. I was 110% impressed with their service and highly recommend them.
